Resource Technician

The Asotin County Conservation District is accepting applications for a Resource Technician. The person in this position will work closely with local landowners, coworkers, conservation partners, and others to develop and implement voluntary conservation plans specific to each landowner’s needs and resource concerns.

Starting compensation will be $15.00 per hour DOQ plus a benefit package.

Benefits include paid sick and vacation leave, health (medical and dental) insurance, 11 paid holidays per year and optional DCP retirement plan participation. 

This is a full time, non-exempt position.  Regular work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch.  Additional evening and weekend work is required occasionally and may require overnight travel.
