Field Crew Title: CLARKSTON/ASOTIN CONSERVATION DISTRICT

Description: This crew will serve with the Asotin County Conservation District based out of Clarkston, WA, and will meet in Clarkston daily. Project sites will be located in Asotin and Whitman Counties. Typical projects include large woody debris installation, in-stream restoration, forest health thinning, invasive plant control, project monitoring and other restoration projects. The crew may utilize rigging equipment and chainsaws on some projects. For questions call 206-327-1090

Must be *18-25 years old. Members earn a living allowance of $1,253 twice a month ($2,506 per month) and an AmeriCorps Education Award of $6,495 after completing a 11-month term (1700 hours). Formal and informal training is provided, and educational loan forbearance and insurance are available. Strong preference will be given to Washington state residents. Successful applicants will be required to verify their vaccination record or seek a medical or religious exemption for the 22-23 service term. *Age restrictions do not apply to those with military service or with mental or sensory disabilities.
