The Asotin County Conservation District is accepting applications for the Restoration Crew Leader position. The person in this position will lead the implementation of restoration projects, including tree/shrub/grass plantings and maintenance, low tech process-based instream restoration and adaptive management, forestry, weed control, and non-commercial best management practices. The crew lead provides day-to-day direction, coordination, and documentation for the ACCD restoration crew.

This position’s compensation will start at $25.00 per hour DOQ/DOE. (Wage Range 4 $19.74 to $36.49) Benefits for this position include 8 hours of paid sick leave per month, 8 hours of paid vacation leave per month, 11 paid holidays per year plus 1 floating holiday, medical insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, and optional DCP retirement plan participation.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Regular work schedule is Monday – Thursday, 7 am to 5:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Schedule may be adjusted based on weather conditions and coordination with landowner schedules. Additional evening and weekend work will be required occasionally and may require overnight travel.
