Voluntary Stewardship Program (VSP)

What is VSP?

The Voluntary Stewardship Program (VSP) is an alternative incentive-based approach, allowed under the Growth Management Act (GMA), to protect and enhance both critical areas and agricultural viability. Asotin County has proudly opted into the program and is one of 27 counties in Washington to do so. This approach is a dynamic and collaborative process consisting of a variety of stakeholders referred to as the Work Group.
